Getting here BY CAR in one day along the north/south A10 motorway, 3 websites which can provide routes are: and Directions to my office when coming by car from the North There are 2 roads involved: the A10 motorway from the north to Exit 36, and the D732 west to my office in Gémozac. Take the A10 south to Exit 36, D732 west (after turning right ‘direction Gemozac’ from Exit 36) for 7km (4.3 miles) to the only traffic lights in Gémozac where you will find my office across from the Post Office. There are 2 roads involved: E5/A10, D732…take the E5/A10 north from Bordeaux Airport to Exit 36 and then the D732 west (after turning right ‘direction Gemozac’ from Exit 36) for 7km (4.3 miles) to the only traffic lights in Gémozac where you will find my office across from the Post Office. ...rent a car at Bordeaux airport and at the first roundabout immediately as you leave the airport follow the exit sign with the BLUE sign ‘ROCADE’ or ‘BYPASS’ (indicating a toll road) and head north, always following the BLUE sign in the direction ‘ANGOULEME/NANTES/PARIS’...you will pass through a toll booth where you take a ticket...the road E5 eventually becomes the A10 and you stay on this road, always following 'ANGOULEME/NANTES/PARIS' until you reach EXIT 36 …Good luck!…call me if you have any problems! PARKING by Eurostar high speed train (TGV) from St. Pancras to a number of destinations (La Rochelle, Poitiers, Niort, Bordeaux, Angoulême) (www.eurostar.com, 0870.518.6186, www.raileurope.co.uk, 0870.58Dublin4.8848, Rail Savers, www.railsavers.com, 0870.750.7070), and then you can connect with a local train to bring you to Saintes...www.voyages-sncf.com...Saintes is 20 minutes north of Gémozac by car...you can arrange car rental through the website, www.voyages-sncf.com For travel by train in France go to www.sncf.co.uk If possible it is best to change trains at Lille rather than Paris as you only have to change platforms whereas in Paris you have to cross the city.
